A work exhibited at Kanao Hidakana's solo exhibition "Warm Forest" held in March 2023.
Oto Hidakana drew the scenery of "Taniku no Mori" using a drafting pen and transparent watercolors, making it perfect for the beginning of spring.

'Warm Forest'
Spring has come again to the 'Taniku no Mori' where a variety of plants grow. The wind is blowing gently, and flowers are blooming here and there. Forest creatures spend the day taking a nap or taking a walk. In this exhibition, I will draw such a spring landscape with drafting pens and transparent watercolors. I would be happy if you could spend a relaxing time with the plants and creatures of the forest while watching the work. --------------------------

Naoto Hidaka
Painter and illustrator.
I live in Nara Prefecture. In 2015, graduated from Okayama Prefectural University Faculty of Design Graphic Design Course.
While holding a solo exhibition every year, he creates illustrations for magazines and advertisements.
His works mainly depict imaginary creatures and plants.
From the January 2022 issue, he has been in charge of the illustrations for the monthly literary magazine "Novel Subaru" (Shueisha).
