Actually, these English-language newspapers are upcycled from those read at universities and libraries.
At NEWSED, we have been trying to convey the fact that many materials around us are becoming waste through the development of unique products.
We approach upcycling from the consumer's perspective, focusing on waste-free consumption and small, everyday improvements.
One approach we take is to use English-language newspapers in our packaging.
The backing cards that come with the acrylic tag plates are made using these English-language newspapers as material and are produced at the local workshop, Hana.
Hana Community Workshop is a welfare workshop that aims to provide a place of employment, training for employment, and life support for people with disabilities living in the community, and provides support tailored to the individual goals and personalities of each person with a disability.
Designed with consideration for difficulty and work processes to support employment for people with disabilities, the system is planned to provide employment support through daily work.
At the local workshop Hana, they handle not only the production of backing cards and packaging, but also the shipping of acrylic tag plates ordered from our store. (Excluding some products)

Hana Regional Workshop is a Type B employment support facility located in Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture.
This facility was established with the aim of providing a workplace, a training ground for employment, and a place of life support for people with disabilities living in the surrounding area. We provide support tailored to the individual goals and personalities of each person with a disability, whether it's aiming for employment or part-time work at a company, or striving to stabilize and improve their living conditions and health.
