NEWSED believes that upcycling is about discovering new value in existing materials. Inspired by the Japanese spirit of mottainai—the belief that nothing valuable should go to waste—we transform industrial offcuts and reclaimed materials into thoughtfully designed everyday objects.
Working with manufacturers across Japan, we give discarded materials a second life through quality craftsmanship and timeless design. By rethinking what already exists, we hope to inspire a more sustainable future where creativity and responsibility go hand in hand.

Located inside the JR Tokyo Station ticket gates at Gransta Tokyo, "VINYL" features a gallery space selling original goods and artwork by various artists. NEWSED sells Acryl Tag Plates featuring uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and kanji characters, as well as a limited-edition "Acryl Tag Plate 365 Days" each month.
