Fruit jelly (green)&red)
The shop's name, written as "赤茄子," is pronounced "tomato." Perhaps to match this theme, the chairs in the shop are tomato-colored, the menus posted on the walls are cut out in the shape of tomatoes, and there are tomato-shaped ornaments on the tables. The limited-quantity bavarois with colorful sprinkles is popular, but the two-colored jelly is also cute.
*The "Fruit Jelly" comes in one of the following colors.
Tokyo Raspberry
Fresh yogurt
Up a narrow staircase, you'll find a charming interior with a mouthwatering photo display at the entrance and pink pillars. The extensive menu, including omurice and mixed fried dishes, is a delight. Don't forget to save room for the fresh yogurt served in a cute melon-shaped container!
・Tokyo Coffee Shop Ace
American donuts and iced coffee
You'll be greeted by two charming masters with smiles that are so soothing just to look at. The interior has remained unchanged since the Showa era, and there are many other appealing features, such as hand-roasted coffee and nori toast inspired by the nori bento boxes they ate as children. The donuts, served with butter and cinnamon sugar, are also superb.

Serenade
The bakery and café, which sadly closed in December 2023, was a beloved spot. I loved everything about it—the sandwiches, puddings, cakes, and café menu. In particular, their slightly sweet meat sauce was exquisite, and the sweet treats like the Serenade or pudding that followed were my personal reward.
