Born in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Design. The founder of "skillfully clumsy" illustrations, believing that clumsiness is more charming than skillful drawing. Using multiple pen names such as King Terry, Gonzo, and Terumaruta, his whimsical works are truly artistic and have garnered a large following overseas. A huge cat lover!
