"Im Imu Uamou Exhibition" held in Kyoto in 2007 The work "Yimu Mua Mou" presented here attracted a lot of attention and was subsequently shown in a traveling exhibition in Shanghai. "Imuimuamou" is a work based on the motif of the 11-faced Kannon statue. It has a total of 10 faces, including the body itself, and 11 faces if you include the face of the person admiring it and looking at it with admiration. This is the luminous version. |

AYAKO TAKAGI Born in Taito, Tokyo. With parents who were jewelry craftsmen, he grew up in an environment where craftsmanship was a part of his life. After graduating from the design department of Tokyo Metropolitan Technical High School, he went to the UK and enrolled in Camberwell College of Arts. While he was a student, he started producing and selling his original character "UAMOU" mainly in Europe. After graduating, he returned to Japan and established Studio UAMOU. In 2010, an atelier shop was opened in the Ueno shopping mall "2k540". |
