Kyoichi Tsuzuki
Born in Tokyo in 1956. From 1976 to 1986, he was in charge of articles on contemporary art, design, urban life, etc. for "POPEYE" and "BRUTUS" magazines. From 1989 to 1992, he published "Art Random," a 102-volume collection of contemporary art that comprehensively covered the trends of global contemporary art in the 1980s. Since then, he has continued to write and edit books in the fields of contemporary art, architecture, photography, design, etc. In 1993, he published "TOKYO STYLE," which captures the real lives of Tokyoites. In 1997, he won the 23rd Kimura Ihei Photography Award for "ROADSIDE JAPAN: A Journey of Strange Japan." He continues to report on roadsides in Japan and around the world. Since 2012, he has been distributing the paid weekly email newsletter "ROADSIDERS'weekly."
