AYAKO TAKAGI Born in Taito-ku, Tokyo. Her parents were jewelery craftsmen, and she grew up in an environment where she was familiar with making things. After graduating from Tokyo Metropolitan Polytechnic High School, Department of Design, she moved to England and entered Camberwell College of Arts. While still in school, she began producing and selling her original character, ``UAMOU,'' mainly in Europe. After she graduated, she returned to Japan and established Studio Uamou.
In 2010, he opened an atelier shop in the commercial facility "2k540" in Ueno.
He loves toys, chocolate, cats and dogs.
