"Imimuamou" is a work based on the motif of the 11-faced Kannon statue. | AYAKO TAKAGI Born in Taito Ward, Tokyo. With parents who were jewelry craftsmen, he grew up in an environment where craftsmanship was a familiar experience. After graduating from the design department of Tokyo Metropolitan Technical High School, he went to the UK to enroll in Camberwell College of Arts. While still a student, he began producing and selling his original character "UAMOU," mainly in Europe. After graduating, he returned to Japan and founded Studio UAMOU. In 2010, an atelier shop was opened in the Ueno shopping mall "2k540." She loves toys, chocolate, cats and dogs. |
