| César Zanardi 📍Argentina/Japan ---- Illustrator and graphic designer, born in Argentina. Since 2022, I have been based in Japan, where I live and work, and am currently active as a creator. I'm involved in creative activities in various fields, but I'm particularly dedicated to character design. The themes of the works include animals, nature, and the nightlife of people seeking pleasure. The key characteristics of CÉSAR's designs are "creepy-cute" and "humor." We propose that our unique design expression, along with the philosophy and concept behind the themes we depict, constitutes our style, which we call "Sicodélica." He is also the creator of the original character "CERRITO". "CERRITO, the Monsters of South America" includes themes such as monsters, creatures, tiki culture, rock culture, mythology, and wildlife. Recently, their popularity has been growing through soft vinyl figure series and T-shirt designs. |
