| ELLY KAWAGUCHI/川口 えり衣 Born in Aomori Prefecture. After working as an apparel fashion designer, she began working as a pen artist in 2017. She mainly uses ballpoint pens, a readily available art material, to reflect fleeting expressions and changing emotions in her works. She composes the whole piece with meticulous lines and dots, and creates works that allow different people to perceive different colors and patterns, giving a wide variety of sensibilities from a single piece. In addition to drawing delicate portraits, she has recently been creating skull works that incorporate elements of street culture. |
