Illustrator. Specializing in vivid colors and humorous characters, he creates unique worlds using ballpoint pen and digital art. He is active in a wide range of genres both domestically and internationally, including advertising, apparel, and toys.

Fujio Akatsuka
Born in 1935 in former Manchuria (now northeastern China). After making his debut with the rental manga "Beyond the Storm" in 1956, he moved to Tokiwa-so. In 1962, "Osomatsu-kun" became an explosive hit, and he subsequently produced a string of popular works, including "Himitsu no Akko-chan," "Tensai Bakabon," and "Moeretsu Ataro," earning him the nickname "King of Gag Manga." He passed away in 2008. |
