| Suzy Amakane Born in Tokyo in 1956. Original manga illustrator and comic artist. Graduated from Tama Art University, majoring in graphic design. Since the 1980s, he has provided illustrations for many media outlets, including magazines, advertisements, and TV commercials. Publications: "POPPO ART" (Arachi Publishing), "Nuri COMIX" (Ongaku Publishing), etc. Lecturer at Bigakuin's "POP ILLUSTRATION School." Numerous solo exhibitions. A well-known example is the Denki Groove logo. ---- Fujio Akatsuka Born in 1935 in former Manchuria (now northeastern China). After making his debut with the rental manga "Beyond the Storm" in 1956, he moved to Tokiwa-so. In 1962, "Osomatsu-kun" became an explosive hit, and he subsequently produced a string of popular works, including "Himitsu no Akko-chan," "Tensai Bakabon," and "Moeretsu Ataro," earning him the nickname "King of Gag Manga." He passed away in 2008. |
