"Imuimuamou Exhibition" held in Kyoto in 2007
The "Imuimuamou" presented here attracted a lot of attention, and a traveling exhibition was subsequently held in Shanghai.
"Imuimuamou" is a work based on the 11-sided Kannon statue.
It has 10 faces including the main body, and 11 faces including the face of the person who looks at it and admires it.

AYAKO TAKAGI
Born in Taito-ku, Tokyo. Her parents were jewelery craftsmen, and she grew up in an environment where she was familiar with making things. After graduating from Tokyo Metropolitan Polytechnic High School, Department of Design, she moved to England and entered Camberwell College of Arts. While still in school, she began producing and selling her original character, ``UAMOU,'' mainly in Europe. After she graduated, she returned to Japan and established Studio Uamou.
In 2010, she opened an atelier shop in the commercial facility "2k540" in Ueno.
