| Toshiyuki Fukuda Illustrator. Born in Osaka in 1967. After studying under Kunio Sato at Spoon Co., Ltd., he started working as a freelance illustrator. He works extensively in book cover illustrations, advertisements, CD jackets, and packaging. His major works include "Fukuda Toshiyuki Works Collection" and "Fukuda Toshiyuki's Trip to Finland" (both published by Genkosha), and picture books such as "Seymour the Mouse" (written by Akiko Ikeda/Akane Shobo) and "I've Never Heard That Person Sing" (written by Takaki Horigome/888 Books). He has also illustrated the covers of popular works such as "The Whales of 52 Hertz" (written by Sonoko Machida) and "Clara and the Sun" (written by Kazuo Ishiguro), designed for the textile brand "Juppu," and designed the characters for 122 animals at Nanki Shirahama Adventure World. |
