| About the Author |
| Toshiyuki Fukuda Illustrator. Born in Osaka in 1967. After studying under Kunio Sato at Spoon Co., Ltd., he began working as a freelance illustrator. He has worked on a wide range of projects, including book covers, advertisements, CD jackets, and packaging. His major works include "The Collected Works of Toshiyuki Fukuda" and "Going to Finland with Toshiyuki Fukuda" (both published by Genkosha), and picture books include "Seymour the Mouse" (written by Akiko Ikeda, published by Akane Shobo) and "I've Never Heard That Person Sing" (written by Takaki Horigome, published by 888 Books). He has also illustrated covers for popular works such as "The 52 Hertz Whales" (written by Sonoko Machida) and "Clara and the Sun" (written by Kazuo Ishiguro), as well as designing for the textile brand "Tofu" and character designs for the 122 animals at Nanki Shirahama Adventure World. |
