Enjoy magical treats that everyone can make.
This is a slightly mysterious story about a girl who loves sweets and the animals of Ecuador, a famous chocolate producing country in South America. At the end of the book, there is a recipe for an authentic chocolate cake, so parents and children can learn how to make sweets together while reading the story.

The owner and chef of Ken's Cafe Tokyo, Japan's first gateau au chocolate specialty shop, which has been selected as one of Tabelog's "Top 100 Sweets Shops in Tokyo" for five consecutive years, has created a fun-to-read, delicious-to-make recipe picture book that teaches you how to make authentic gateau au chocolate while reading the story.

The first picture book by Kenji Ujiie, the owner and chef of the famous chocolate gateau shop "Ken's Cafe Tokyo", tells a slightly mysterious story about a girl and cute animals from Ecuador making chocolate gateau, and includes recipe elements that allow the chef to make authentic chocolate gateau "easily". The recipe is also included at the end of the book, and the picture book is designed to be open or stand on its own while open so that it can be referenced while cooking, with a B5 horizontal format.

Synopsis
