説明
The UNISUS UNIT, which is made up of 16 parts assembled to create a three-dimensional silhouette, was redesigned and created through a collaboration between Mick Itaya and NEWSED. The material used is acrylic that is left over from processing and dead stock with no clear use prospects. The acrylic, which features distinctive colors and patterns, is made by Tokyo Acrylic (Sanko Co., Ltd.) by filling it with glitter and fabric to create accessories and store fixtures, and each piece is made individually. You can enjoy different expressions depending on how you combine them and the angle from which you view them. Designer: Mick Itaya |

ABOUT "NEWSED" |
"NEWSED" is an upcycling brand that looks at old items from a new perspective and gives them new life. To date, we have developed and manufactured a variety of products that utilize scraps of xylophone keyboards and recycled seat belts, including the "Acryl Tag Plate," made from acrylic scraps from factories that produce accessory parts and store fixtures. We don't just make use of the materials, but we also place importance on the production background behind waste and offcuts, and develop products by creating a story about why they are being reborn in that way.
