PETCHIN MAGNET / Offcuts (petchin) magnet

These magnets are made from scraps (pechin) that are cut off during the chopstick manufacturing process. Because these scraps were part of the chopsticks until just before they were made, they fit comfortably in your fingertips. The action of attaching and removing the magnets brings back memories of when the chopsticks were still chopsticks. *The name Pechin comes from the sound made when the chopsticks are cut off.
