ARTIST |
ESOW Born in Tokyo in 1972. Started skateboarding at the age of 13 and moved to the United States at the age of 17. Encountering graffiti, he creates a unique style influenced by the essence of Edo, which is also his roots. Based in Asakusa, he has been attracting attention not only in Japan but also in the United States, Europe, and Asia for many years. The medium of expression is wide and flexible, such as paper, walls, lumber, and three-dimensional objects. We also collaborate with various brands and companies. He was also a member of "T19," a pioneering group in Japanese skate culture, and "Daizu Experimental," which made achievements in the history of graffiti. After working at the atelier/shop/gallery “Fuuraido” in the Asakusa underground shopping area, he has been energetically continuing his work based in the new atelier he established in Asakusa in 2019.https://www.instagram.com/esowom/ ©ESOW |
